We enlisted the support of Jon Brock in December 2021 to sell our townhouse. Our property was listed a month earlier with a different realtor but after 49 showings and a very stressful 2 weeks, it was not sold! Jon captured our attention for many reasons. The search for a real estate agent began once we considered selling our family home. We quickly realized there were two types of agents. The first were agents who got your listing, put their sign on your lawn, put an ad in the paper, organized an open house and waited for a buyer to come. These agents we discovered tend to sell only a few houses a year. The second group of agents maintain a full time office staff and have a network of professional associates to advise and assist in the preparation of your home for sale. Real Estate Jon determined the optimal date to place our home on the market not only the day but to the hour. He presented us with a price range that was realistic, leading us to comfortably make a pricing decision. Also, he sent in his team to assist us in preparing our home to be presented in the best possible light for a buyer. His associates gave excellent suggestions and timelines for us to follow. Jon provided names of reliable trades people to assist with the task that were beyond our abilities. Despite being in what everyone called a very poor market, Real Estate Jon booked 45 showings within the first day that produced 4 valid and competing offers culminating in the sale closing in 36 hours for over asking price. Yet this was not the end of his involvement. Jon and his wonderful staff remained in close contact right up to closing to ensure all went smoothly.

Jon is the perfect partner for someone to have in their journey of finding a home. He is extremely motivated, engaged and very responsive. In days where time is literally money (24 hours can mean losing your shot in THE house, or >50k extra), you will need someone able to find the reality behind the “asking price” and get to the bottom of what is required in each situation very fast. I was flabbergasted to see how his assessments of property prices were always right.

From the time I told Jon that I loved a place, it took him less than 24h to run a thorough background check and to guarantee that that place was mine. I should mention that when I decided to put down an offer, there was another comparable place closing (same location, but 1bed and and 1bath less than mine). When I learned how much this one was sold for, I knew we had made a FANTASTIC deal!
