The search for a real estate agent began once we considered selling our family home. We quickly realized there were two types of agents. The first were agents who got your listing, put their sign on your lawn, put an ad in the paper, organized an open house and waited for a buyer to come. These agents we discovered tend to sell only a few houses a year. The second group of agents maintain a full time office staff and have a network of professional associates to advise and assist in the preparation of your home for sale.
